The Haute-Savoie region and the village of Les Carroz in particular offer a relaxing location for summer holidays. Clean air, mountain walks and good food, all just forty-five minutes from Geneva Airport.
The village of Les Carroz lies 1000 metres above sea level and offers a wide range of activities ranging from speleology, canyoning and climbing, through ballooning, paragliding, mountain-biking, hiking, bob kart and grass sledging, to tennis, swimming, horse riding, gymnasium, etc. - the list is far from exhaustive. Children are given particular attention and people who favour gentler activities have not been forgotten. For more details, a visit to the les Carroz website is highly recommended: www.lescarroz.com.

St Michel, a renovated stone farm house, is well situated just five minutes walk from the village centre with a mix of shops including a supermarket, bank, newsagent, pharmacy...as well as a cinema and leisure centre. Only a ten minute walk away in the opposite direction, the télécabine (cable car) climbs to the top of la Kédeuse at 1800 metres, from which a number of walks begin.
In addition to all the activities offered on site, the village of Les Carroz is an ideal base for exploring the Haute-Savoie region and the Lake Geneva area. The Tourist Office suggests itineraries for a large number of excursions in the region.
